A Certified Public Accountant in New York and New Hampshire since 2006. Rosemarie is an accomplished professional with extensive executive and managerial experience in finance, budgeting, and financial analysis spanning several sectors.
She is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Program Development Services, a nonprofit organization in Brooklyn, NY where she has direct oversight for the Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Information Technology portfolios and manages the organization’s budget of approximately $33 Million.
Prior to joining PDS, she served as CFO and Director of Finance at nonprofit organizations for over 12 years, where she was directly responsible for financial analysis, budgeting and statements preparation for the Board of Directors and other Committees within the organization. Rosemarie also served as Senior Audit Manager with responsibilities of OMB A-133 audits, government auditing standards, budgets and statement analysis, internal controls, and review of consolidated fiscal reports.
Her expertise includes over 8 years of experience in the areas of program development and low-income housing development. She brings a wealth of knowledge regarding federal and state funding regulations through her work with the New York State Office of Mental Health, New York City Department of Homeless Services, Office for Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, among many other government funding sources.
Mrs. Gooden served for two terms as Treasurer of the Latter Rain Church in the Bronx, New York.
She brings her broad range of experience gained in accounting and governance to Program Development Services.
